The Author
Sicilian storyteller in Dublin, writing fiction for the page and the screen.
I was born in Catania in 1990 and write in Italian and English. My fiction includes a domestic noir novelette set in a rented house in Dublin and a short story that takes Sophocles into deep space; lately I have also been writing for the screen.
My essays are about myth and legend. Two of them appeared on the official Wild Cards blog, the shared-world series edited by George R.R. Martin, and the Royal Shakespeare Company commissioned one for the programme of its stage production of Game of Thrones: The Mad King.
My doctoral research is on George R.R. Martin's work, and I spoke at Worldcon 2026 in Los Angeles. I speak twelve languages and write in several of them.
